Manufacture includes fabrication of vessels such as storage tanks, reactors, plating baths, make-up tanks, effluent and neutralizing tanks.
Manufacture also includes fabrication of fume extraction and treatment systems which may comprise of fume cabinets, hoods, manifolds, ducting, gas scrubbers, exhaust stacks, weather cowls. Other plastic fabrications include safety showers, chemical dosing units, grease traps, custom valves and dampers, dip pipes, acidizing cabinets and special process equipment and liners.

One of 6 free standing polypropylene
tanks
designed and manufactured by Polimatrix
for
a large galvanizing plant.
The tanks are 14.5m long, 1.7m high and
the
width varies from 1.5m to 2.4m. Unique
to the design is a pre-manufactured
steel
framework comprising bolt-on panels.
Deflection over 14.5m with the tank
supported only on the ends is less
than 5mm. The entire steel frame is
encapsulated in polypropylene. |
